"Music makes me high on stage, and that's the truth. It's like being almost addicted to music."

Jimi Hendrix

Drawing comparisons to bands such as Lifetime, CIV, New Found Glory, The Movielife, and early Saves the Day, The San Francisco Bay Area's Set Your Goals straddle the line between pop-punk and melodic hardcore. They burst onto the scene with a 2004 self-titled EP on Straight on Records. The guys later rechristened their eponymous EP "Reset" for an April 2006 reissue on Eulogy Recordings, with the addition of a cover song written by Bay Area legends Jawbreaker. 2014 marks the 10 year anniversary of the band's demo, and vocalist Matt Wilson felt it only fitting to celebrate by founding Calaveras Records and pressing the anniversary edition on 10" vinyl as the first release for his new label.
